Mohamed Salah is expected to return in three weeks to help spearhead Egypt’s World Cup campaign, the country’s football federation have said, Skysports reports.
Salah was forced off with a shoulder injury during Liverpool’s 3-1 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid last weekend after tangling with Sergio Ramos.
The forward arrived in Valencia on Tuesday for treatment on his damaged shoulder and has been assessed by Egyptian national team doctors.
The Egypt Football Association have since tweeted they expect Salah to be fit again within three weeks.
