Cristiano Ronaldo paid a whopping sum of £6million to purchase the most expensive apartment ever sold in Lisbon, the capital and largest city of Portugal.
The Juventus football superstar got the flat, which is located next to the Eduardo VII Park in his hometown, in July of last year but news of its purchase has only recently surfaced.
The dazzling penthouse is reported to be 288 square metres (3,100 square feet) and includes a spa, an indoor swimming pool and a gym.
The flat, which was reportedly built ten years ago when the 34-year-old was at Manchester United, has three large bedrooms for him to enjoy.
Ronaldo, who lives with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez in Turin, is said to have beaten off bids from two other millionaires for the flat.
He also recently sold a stunning mansion for £2m to his former Real Madrid team-mate Pepe.
