Comparisons Or Coincidence: Was #Mohbad #Tupac Shakur’s Reincarnation?—-In the now deleted post made by one Facebook user, there were a list of four similarities to communicate a link of the late Nigerian artiste, Ilerioluwa Aloba, alias Mohbad or Imole, to the American Rapper, Tupac Shakur, alias 2Pac or 2Papocalypse.
One major link cryptically insinuated by the post was the possibility of Mohbad being the reincarnation figure of 2Pac. These were based on the following assumptions:
“Tupac died in 1996 Mohbad was born in 1996.
Tupac was born in June and Mohbad was born in June.
Tupac died in September and Mohbad died in September.
Lastly Tupac died at the age of 27 while mohbad also died at the age of 27.
What a wonderful coincidence!”
However, the Newsmen Research and Investigations desk fact-checked the claims one by one for verification and assurance of accurate information for the public consumption purpose. Following are our findings:
Claim one: Tupac died in 1996 Mohbad was born in 1996.
2Pac really died in September 13, 1996 after a shootout at his car in Las Vegas. According to MTV, “at about 11:15 pm at a stop light, a white, four-door, late-model Cadillac sedan pulled up to the passenger side and an occupant rapidly fired into the car. Shakur was struck four times: once in the arm, once in the thigh, and twice in the chest with one bullet entering his right lung. Shards hit Knight’s head. Frank Alexander, Shakur’s bodyguard, was not in the car at the time. He would say he had been tasked to drive the car of Shakur’s girlfriend, Kidada Jones.
Wikipedia noted that Shakur was taken to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada where he was heavily sedated and put on life support. In the intensive-care unit on the afternoon of September 13, 1996, Shakur died from internal bleeding. He was pronounced dead at 4:03 pm.
Mohbad was born in June 8 1996, that was about four months before the death of 2Pac.
So, though, Mohbad was born four months before the demise of 2Pac, the claim “Tupac died in 1996 Mohbad was born in 1996,” is true.
Claim Two: Tupac was born in June and Mohbad was born in June
Tupac was born on June 16, 1971 and Mohbad was also born in June 8, 1996.
Therefore, the claim, “Tupac was born in June and Mohbad was born in June,” is true.
Claim Three: Tupac died in September and Mohbad died in September.
2Pac was brutally wounded in a shootout on September 12, 1996 and was pronounced dead the second day, September 13, 1996.
Mohbad, though, circumstances around his death remain controversial, was pronounced dead on September 12, 2023.
The claim “Tupac died in September and Mohbad died in September,” is true.
Claim Four: Lastly Tupac died at the age of 27 while Mohbad also died at the age of 27.
As of the time of his death, 2Pac was 25 years old from 1971 to 1996.
Mohbad just turned 27 June 8, 2023 and was already on the course of his 28th before he was pronounced dead.
He was by age, two years older than 2Pac before his death.
