BREAKING: #Tems Wins #Grammy As #Burna Boy Loses [VIDEO]—–Nigerian music star, Tems, has won her first Grammy award for her contribution on Futures hit single Wait For U.
Tems became the first female artist from the Nigerian music industry to do so.
Wait For U’ won the award for Best Melodic rap performance.
She won the award by beating ‘Beautiful’ by DJ Khaled Featuring Future & SZA, ‘First Class’ by Jack Harlow, ‘Die Hard by Kendrick Lamar Featuring Blxst & Amanda Reifer, and ‘Big Energy (Live)’ by Latto.
However, Burna Boy returned empty handed as he lost in the two categories he was nominated for
‘WAIT FOR U’ by Future ft. Drake & Tems wins the #GRAMMYs award for Best Melodic Rap Performance.
