BREAKING: Lagos State Govt Imposes 24-hour Curfew – #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeraNOW—Governor Sanwo-Olu has announced a 24 hour curfew in the state of Lagos following the violent trend of #EndSARS protests
This curfew will begin by 4pm today Tuesday 20, October, 2020 as a measure to curtail the deaths and destruction of properties that has accompanied the end SARS protest in the state.
The Genius Media recalls that the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki also imposed a 24 hour curfew in his state following the two prison breaks experienced in the state yesterday.
The Governor made this known via its verified twitter account:
I, therefore, hereby impose a 24-hour curfew on all parts of the State as from 4pm today, 20th October,2020. Nobody, except essential service providers and first responders must be found on the streets.
