SEUN KUTI: How Davido’s Wedding Snub Affected Me [VIDEO]—Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti has finally opened up on not being invited to colleague, David Adeleke, better known as Davido’s wedding ceremony.
The Genius Media Nigeria recalls that dignitaries from all walks of life including political figures as well as Nigerian celebrities attended Davido’s lavish wedding with his Chioma, on June 25, 2024.
However, speaking in a recent episode of ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ hosted by content creator, Bae U Barbie, Kuti disclosed that he couldn’t sleep for a week after Davido snubbed him for his wedding invitees.
He explained that it was painful because Davido and his team used to drink free beer at his family’s bar.
He said: “Davido would come to the African Shrine with 100 guys, and he would drink without paying, but when it was time for his wedding, I didn’t get IV. I was pained, I didn’t sleep for one week.”
