An online portal has been spreading a fake news about Abba son of a former Director General of the Department of State Services, DSS, Yusuf Bichi, that he was on the run after stealing his father’s $2m.
Abba, who is a professional footballer based in Abuja and now searching for a prospective club in Germany, has debunked the fake news.
The young lad in a podcast right inside the stadium in Germany said to his father that his club just lost a match and his father was heard consoling him.
He then asked his father to speak with his coach, and the father could be heard telling his son and coach that tomorrow is another day, adding that in life, you win some and lose some.
Abba’s coach, Mr Thomas, thereafter told his father that the next match would be against Bayer Leverkusen, and Bichi said the next outing would favour them.
It would be recalled that some online portals have been engaging in a hatchet job to smear the image of the former DG who served meritoriously for more than six years as DG, DSS.
