#IsrealHamasWar: #Hamas Releases Another 13 #Israeli Hostages, Four Thai Nationals [PHOTO/VIDEO]—Hamas has released 13 Israelis hostages and four foreign nationals, the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) confirms late Saturday night.
A Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesman had earlier said 13 Israelis and a number of foreign nationals are now with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Gaza.
“Hostages released by Hamas have been transferred by the Red Cross to Egypt and are on their way back to Israel,” IDF has said.
BBC quoted the IDF as confirming that 13 of the hostages were Israeli and four others were Thai nationals.
The Israeli military added that the hostages convoy was currently making its way through Egypt to a meeting point at Kerem Shalom, a kibbutz in southern Israel.
The IDF added that the families of hostages were being kept updated.
An earlier delay to a release of hostages was resolved following mediation with Egypt and Qatar.
As part of a Qatar-brokered truce, Friday saw the release of 13 Israeli hostages – and 39 Palestinians from Israeli prisons.
In one of the video trending, one of the elderly women who was released was heard thanking the Hamas fighter after release.
