Labour Party’s Kenneth Okonkwo Compares #Tinubu’s Chicago State University Certificate Saga With #Mmesoma Ejikeme Forgery—A lawyer, Kenneth Okonkwo has reacted to people who have said the issue of the certificate forgery saga is frivolous and is not enough reason for the court to overturn the victory of President Bola Tinubu
In an interview with Arise TV, Okonkwo said a young girl Mmesoma who tampered with her JAMB result to emerge with a high score was punished. He said what Mmesoma did is similar to what the president allegedly did and it is not a trivial matter.
According to Okonkwo “How can you say that a young girl called Mmesoma who passed her Jamb, who scored very good grades but because she was greedy went and got third-party agents to write her own result and produce her own certificate, you say what she did was not trivial and you punish her for that and then you have a leader of your country doing the same thing”.
Speaking further, Okonkwo said “Assuming without conceding that he attended the university, then he wrote his own certificate, and it is the same thing this girl did, and then some people are saying it is trivial. You know why they are saying it? Because they have destroyed their conscience and morality”.
