BREAKING: Cole Palmer Signs For #Chelsea From Manchester City?—-According to Football transfer Expert, Chelsea are close to finalising an agreement with Manchester City for the permanent signing of forward Cole Palmer.

He made this known via his official twitter page saying Agreement in principle reached with Manchester City on £40m deal plus £5m add-ons.

An agreement was reached quickly between the two Premier League clubs on Wednesday after Chelsea made a formal approach for the 21-year-old.

Palmer is expected to undergo a medical with the London club on Thursday in anticipation of completing a deal ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

Should the deal go through it would take the spending at Chelsea under the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital ownership to £1.02bn.

It will also take their spending this summer alone to £419m. In over five years and 11 transfer windows under Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs only spent £412m.
