The versatile Player beat the likes of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo to win the award on Tuesday.
Saka polled the most votes to finish ahead of every other candidate for the award.
The winger inspired Arsenal to their best campaign in almost two decades, with the Gunners leading the Premier League title race for the majority of the season until Manchester City caught up with them in May
The 21-year-old scored a career-high 15 goals and provided 15 assists in 38 games as the Gunners narrowly missed out on the league title.
He scored a career-high 15 times in all competitions, as well as providing 11 assists for Mikel Arteta’s side last season.
Saka was also involved in all 38 Premier League games for Arsenal.
The ceremony also saw Davido, the Nigerian artiste, entertain the crowd.
