Netizens Bombs Tonto Dikeh Over Her Comment On Jagun Jagun‘s Movie–Popular Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has been criticised online over a comment on the Yoruba indigenous movie on Netflix, Jagun Jagun (The Warrior).
TGM reports that Tonto, in a post on Instagram, said she watched the movie after some international friends recommended it.
The movie star said it had been over 10 to 12 years since she watched a Nollywood movie, and she was really in awe with the production.
She further said Jagun Jagun is an amazing movie and showered praises on the cast and crew for their phenomenal work.
Tonto emphasized that her review isn’t based on a personal relationship with any of the cast in the movie but she only watched it based on the recommendation.
She wrote: “This is my review for My very first watched Nigerian movie in over 10/12years!!!!
“I was shook, I think this is an amazing movie. Don’t personally know anyone in this movie from production to crew) but I watched it by popular demand via my international friends and I must say I AM FLABBERGASTED!!!!!!#. Weldone to the producers crew and the cast!!!”
However, Tonto’s statement was taken out of context as netizens hurled insults at her.
