BREAKING: #Mbappe Rejects €400m Summer Transfer From Al-Hilal—-According to reports fromFrance, Kylian Mbappe will reject Al-Hilal’s advances, despite being presented a huge offer by the Saudi Pro League side.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward is set to be sold this summer after falling out with club president Nasser Al Khelaifi, who wants to offload Mbappe in the coming weeks.
The France international has one year left on his PSG deal, but has informed the club that he will not sign a contract extension, despite being open to staying for the 2023/24 season.
Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of Mbappe, and hence have been heavily linked with a move, while Arsenal are leading the chasing pack from the Premier League – as exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers.
However, Saudi Arabia have also had their say – after poaching some of the biggest stars in the European game – and have reportedly put together a €400 million package for Mbappe and PSG.
Mbappe was recently excluded from PSG’s pre-season trip to Japan due to the fact the Parisians believe he has a pre-agreement to join Real Madrid in 2024. On the other hand, Los Blancos are reluctant to pay an inflated fee for Mbappe when he’s available on a free transfer next summer, something the player is keen on due to the fact he’d receive a bumper signing-on bonus and higher wages.
Real Madrid’s stalling has opened the door to a move to Saudi Arabia, with Al-Hilal leading the way. In fact, reports have suggested they may be willing to sign Mbappe and allow him to move to Real Madrid next summer in order to convince him to join.
But, L’Equipe have reported that Mbappe is set to reject Saudi Arabia’s advances, despite their huge contract offer. He will reportedly not join the Saudi Pro League and will instead continue playing in Europe.
