BREAKING: Sam Kerr Wins FWA Women’s Footballer Of The Year—The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Chelsea’s Sam Kerr has been named the FWA women’s footballer of the year for the second season in a row.
The Australia international has scored 10 goals in 18 games in the WSL this season and scored her 50th league goal in England earlier this month.
Kerr has won three league titles, two FA Cups and two League Cups since her arrival at Chelsea during the 2019-20 season.
Chelsea are currently chasing the double this season. The Blues trail leaders Manchester United with a game in hand in the WSL title race, and will face United in the FA Cup final in front of a sold-out crowd at Wembley on Sunday.
