BREAKING: Peter Obi Was Duly Initiated Member Of #Pyrate Confraternity – Wale Olaleye Alleges—-Olawale Olaleye, a noted political journalist with a demonstrated history Editor at ThisDay has just revealed another hidden identity of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi. after one of his supporters openly condemned professors of note, Wole Soyinka for being a member of  Pyrate Confraternity

He made this known in a recent post via his instagram account while schooling a vicious Obidient on the internet.

Responding to one of the Obidient’s irrational attack that followed Wole Shoyinka’s condemnation of Datti Yusuf Baba-Ahmed’s Channels TV controversial interview, @akabitheduke clearly stated that If the writer knew Peter Obi was also a Pyrate member – duly initiated – he probably would have chosen his words carefully.

Authenticating his allegation, he called on Peter Obi to swear by the Holy Bible that he wasn’t a member of the Pyrate.

He wrote:

When I read this bile-filled trash, I laughed so hard my belly hurt. The reason I laughed was because of the unintended hypocrisy in the post.

If the writer knew Peter Obi was also a Pyrate member – duly initiated – he probably would have chosen his words carefully.

Let Obi swear by the Holy Bible that he wasn’t a member of the Pyrate. And I’d openly “eat my own words.”

There’s nothing hidden in Professor Wole Soyinka’s membership of the pyrate. He founded it out of conviction and is a proud member.

But what do you say of those other members, who hide from being identified with it? Yet, they belong, too.

Or did you think it was an accident that some members of a certain confraternity composed a song the other time to denigrate Bola Tinubu?

Are you kidding? It was in solidarity with one of their own: Peter Obi. Somplicita!

Soyinka co-founded Pyrates Confraternity when he was a student in Ibadan, Nigeria, in 1952.

The mandate of the Confraternity was to fight for human rights and social justice in Nigeria. It would engage in peaceful protests against the Nigerian government and hold an annual colloquium

The Magnificent Seven—Wole Soyinka, Ikpehare Aig-Imoukhuede, Olumuyiwa Awe, Pius Oleghe, Nathaniel Oyelola, Sylvanus Egbuche and Ralph Opara—were motivated to challenge the congealing elitism of the upper-middle class in the Nigerian society of the 1950s.

Theories have however that cultism in Nigeria’s higher institutions stemmed from the Pirates Confraternity.
