BREAKING: #Jandor Reveals Why #Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour Left #PDP For Labour Party [VIDEO]—The Genius Media Nigeria reports that The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for governor of Lagos State, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, has revealed that his Labour Party opponent, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, was supposed to be his running mate.
This is coming with only a few days left before Nigerian eligible voters return to their respective polling units to choose their preferred governorship candidates as well as members of the state House of Assembly across the country.
The three front-runners for the position of Lagos State’s next governor are as follows: the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressive Congress, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour party, and Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Speaking to prominent Nigerian broadcaster, Daddy Freeze during a live Facebook session on Monday, Jandor claimed many people are demanding him to step down for Gbadebo without actually knowing the dynamics of the state.
He said that he had long battled godfatherism in Lagos State. He claimed that abdicating in favor of Gbadebo would be the same as permitting godfatherism to continue.
The PDP candidate said that he is convinced that he would win on Saturday since Peter Obi won’t be on the ballot, making the election a completely different game.
“PDP Has The Same Godfather Issues APC Has. One PDP Godfather Insisted That I Make Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour My Deputy; When I Disagreed, Gbadebo Moved To Labour Party,” Jandor told Daddy Freeze.
