In line with the Workers Charter of Demands, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), with a membership base of over 6 million Nigerian workers, have endorsed Peter Obi for President.
TGM Reports that the NLC enjoined all its members nationwide to vote massively for Peter Obi and also defend their votes.

ADC has endorsed Peter Obi for president
The Genius Media Nigeria reports that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has endorsed the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, for the February 25 presidential election.
According to The Tribune, the endorsement follows the formation of a coalition that aims to propel the duo to the highest office in the land.
The coalition, which is made up of several star alliance partners such as Nigeria Mothers for Good Governance, Fulani United, and League of Imams, among others, said they seek to create a formidable force for the Obi/Datti ticket.
The event was attended by prominent figures such as the ADC National Chairman, BoT Chairman, and Pat Utomi.
The ADC’s endorsement is expected to give a significant boost to the Obi/Datti campaign, as the party boasts a significant following in certain parts of the country.
T.Y Danjuma Led Northern Christian Elders Forum Endorses Peter Obi
Peter Obi’s presidential ambition has gotten another boost as the T.Y Danjuma led Northern Christian Elders Forum (NCEF) endorses the Labour Party Presidential candidate.
NAIJA NEWS NG reports that the NCEF made it endorsement via a statement sent to media men in Abuja on Tuesday,January 21, 2023. The Christian group said Nigeria requires new leaders, new methods, new policies, and new political parties to protect its future.
It also raised an alarm that the reports about some regions preparing to unleash violence during the elections should not be taken lightly by the federal government.
The forum called on Nigerians to vote peacefully and choose candidates based on capacity, ability, integrity, and good health because, “a sick country requires hearty leaders.”
The statement titled, “Resolutions towards 2023 elections: Think new”, signed by its chairman Dr. Samuel Gani and Secretary, Pastor Bosun Emmanuel, reads: “In view of the need to ensure that democracy survives in Nigeria and the culture of corruption, incompetency, lawlessness, and impunity, which assailed the country in the past 24 years is eradicated, NCEF encourages Nigerians to think new.
“Nigeria requires new leaders, new methods, new policies, and new political parties. In view of the above for equity, justice, inclusiveness, and unity to produce the preferred future for Nigerians.
“The National Christian Elders Forum is endorsing Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party as the Presidential candidate to be voted for. NCEF encourages all Nigerians of voting age to exercise their civic duty and ensure that they vote for capacity, competency, integrity, and good health. Nigerians, think new!”
