New TEKAN President Is Distinguished – Ex-YOWICAN President—-The former President of the National President, Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Engr. Daniel David Kadzai has congratulated Rev. Joel S. Billy on his emergence as the TEKAN National President, saying he is a distinguished man of God.

Kadzai in his statement said; “It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.

“Rev. Joel Stephen Billy running 2nd term as EYN President has been elected as TEKAN National President on 14th January 2023 at the 67TH TEKAN GENERAL ASSEMBLY held at Takum, Taraba State.
The following Leaders were elected;
1.TEkAN President; Rev. Joel Billi of EYN=

2.TEKAN Vice President; Very Rev. Dave Denji D. of ERCC

1. TEKAN Asst. GS; Rev Associate. Prof. Benjamin; of COCIN.

2. TEKAN Treasurer; Mrs. Catherine John; of HEKAN.

The statement reads thus; “The Fellowship of Churches of Christ in Nigeria (TEKAN) is a federation of sixteen Christian Denominations in Nigeria. It was founded in 1955.

The Members include the following;

●The Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN)
●Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria (CRCN)
●United Methodist Church Nigeria (UMCN)

Speaking with this medium, Kadzai said this, Rev. Joel Billy is my leader and I am so grateful for his emergence as the TEKAN National President.

“Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN) under Rev. Joel S. Billy nominated me for the office of National President, The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) and they were solidly behind me until I won election and also until I finished my tenure. Now is my turn to reciprocate,” Engr. Daniel said.
