BREAKING: Like Real Madrid, #Roma Rejects Cristiano #Ronaldo – G.O.A.T—-The Genius Media Nigeria reports that the duo of European giants Football Club has turned down the opportunity to sign the former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recall, the 37-year-old accused the Red Devils of betraying him in a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan last week.
Ronaldo appears to have already played his last game for the Red Devils after he lambasted the club’s owners, the hierarchy, the manager and his fellow players during an interview with ace journalist, Piers Morgan.
Manchester United are now exploring the possibility of terminating Ronaldo’s deal but the 37-year-old said in the interview that he does not really care, insisting that the fans should know the truth.
Now his former clubs, Real Madrid have turned down the opportunity to re-sign him in the summer transfer window.
Marca reports that the La Liga giants have adopted the same stance ahead of the January window as they have no interest in signing Ronaldo for a second time.
Ronaldo was reported to be heading back to Real Madrid to provide cover for Karim Benzema, who was injured with France in training in Qatar.
Also, Jose Mourinho’s side has turned down the opportunity to sign the former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar in the January transfer window.
Roma’s football chief, Tiago Pinto insisted that the Italian side have never thought of the prospect of signing Ronaldo.
“…The truth is that Cristiano has never been a possibility,” he told reporters in Portugal.
“These rumours have never had any basis, but in Italy we talk about three different players every day, it is perhaps normal to link the pieces together because Mourinho and I are Portuguese and Ronaldo is Portuguese, but this, I repeat, has never had any basis.”
