BREAKING: UK PM, Rishi Sunak Makes Surprise Visit To President #Zelensky [VIDEO] – #UkraineRussiaWar—The newly appointed Prime Minister Of United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak has made a surprise trip to Ukraine to meet Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to reports, Zelensky could not but praised Britain’s help in fighting the Russians.
He said: “Since the first days of the war, Ukraine and the UK have been the strongest of allies.
“We discussed the most important issues both for our countries and for global security.”
Sunak to Ukraine to “confirm continued UK support”, a No 10 spokesperson said.
The PM follows in the footsteps of Boris Johnson, whose support for Ukraine led him to be awarded the country’s highest honour.
Zelensky posted a video this afternoon showing the two leaders meeting in Kyiv
He wrote:
