JUST IN: Mr Ibu’s Daughter End 9-Month-Old Marriage To Man She Met On #Tiktok—The daughter of Nollywood legend, John Okafor (a.k.a Mr. Ibu), Jasmine Chioma Okafor, announces the end of her 9-month-old marriage!
This news is coming after she discovered was previously divorced with 3 grown kids. In her words posted on her instagram: “A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me but hate how you never mentioned your divorce not kids to me!”.
Here’s the complete post she wrote early Monday on instagram, announcing end of the marriage, “This was the best 9 months of my life! I have no regrets whatsoever! I just won’t settle for a lie regardless! I forgive easily, I remember asking you about this severally before we started! Finding out today from your mum, really broke me! A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! But hate how you never mentioned your divorce nor kids to me! Moving on I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance!“
Jasmine had tied the knot with her fiance whom she met on Tiktok. The pair have known each other for only two months.
In some pictures on Instagram, Jasmine was seen in what looks like a light blue gown, flaunting her wedding ring. In an accompanying video, the couple were seen kissing while family and friends who graced the occasion watched on during the marriage ceremony.
Prior to the occasion, Jasmine shared some pre-wedding photos she took with her lover.
However, in those pictures, including the leaked wedding photos, the face of her husband is not shown.
Actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, had aslo said he has no problem with his ‘daughter’, Jasmine, getting married to a man she met on social media platform, TikTok.
He told Sunday Scoop, “She is not my biological daughter but I trained her. She calls me daddy and I call her daughter. I am okay with it (her getting married). I have been praying for them and I will keep on doing that.
“Man and woman got to know each other one day. It is a gradual process. However, I don’t want to see tears.”
