The Genius Media Nigeria gathered that the INEC ad-hoc staff, after counting of votes, declared the PDP candidate the winner of the poll, having polled 218 votes at the unit to defeat the incumbent governor of the state, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 23.
