Ghana have qualified for the 2022 Fifa World Cup after holding Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in the second leg of their final qualifying game.

The Black Stars held the three-time African champions to a goalless draw in Kumasi on Friday.

Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong, scored a penalty in the 22nd minute to level Ghana’s lead.

The Black Stars of Ghana took the lead in the 11th minute through a goal by Thomas Partey.
