JCI Ibadan Holds 2022 First Business Meeting, Inducts 8 Professionals [PHOTOS]—-On Sunday, 9th of January, 2022, JCI Ibadan held her first meeting of the year.
The business meeting was graced by JCI Sen. Iwalola Akin-Jimoh, JCI Sen. Dr Sina Adegunle, JCI Sen. Timeyin Uwejamomere, and the number one citizen of JCI NIGERIA, who also doubles as the One Legacy Ambassador, JCIN Amb. Olawale Bakare.
The business meeting was a fully packed program as it also the ‘JCI Ibadan Welcome Home Event’ for our 2022 National President, JCIN Amb. Olawale Bakare.
It’s worthy of note that JCIN Amb. Olawale Bakare introduced the JCI Ibadan President, JCIN Amb Olawale Agbomeji to JCI when they were both students of the Prestigious University of Ibadan. We were both part of the collegiate chapter, JCIN UI, before moving on spearheading greater causes in the JCIN body.
In his address to us yesterday, he reminded us about the need to carry on the JCI Ibadan’s legacy of excellence. Of course, we lead and others follow! We were also encouraged to birth a major vision of this LO Year- Building a JCIN National Secretariat. We really can’t wait for that to happen.
Another interesting event we had yesterday was our induction ceremony. At JCI Ibadan, we delight in welcoming men and women of virtue and value into our family.
Eight intending Jaycees were indicted into our big family yesterday and taking them through the induction process assured me of the quality of JCI IBADAN’s membership.
It is of note that we inducted core professionals mainly, Lawyers, Architect, Clinical Psychologist, Pharmacist, environmentalist and animal consultant.
Oh! What’s a business meeting without a training? JCI Sen. Iwalola Akin-Jimoh delivered 200% value on gaining skills for life. A truly insightful session.
Again, JCI Ibadan has recorded a successful business meeting, courtesy everyone who made themselves available. We had an attendance of over a 80 (members, guest and friends).
Special appreciation to all Past Presidents(JCI Sen Akin Aki bola, JCI Senators Oyeleke, JCI Sen George Berkhout, JCI Sen Adelayo Abass, JCI Sen Kayode Adedayo, JCI SenAdedimeji Adekanbi, JCIN Amb Femi Marquis and Ambassadors who graced the occasion.
