The Genius Media Nigeria reports that a former governor of oyo state, Christopher Alao Akala is dead.
This reliable platform gathered that he was aged 72.
The former police officer who tried to return to Oyo State government house in 2019 as the ADP candidate in the governorship election, died on Wednesday morning in his sleep.
Details surrounding his death is however still sketchy.
His death is coming two weeks after the death of the Olubadan, Iba Saliu Olatunji and months after the death of the Sound of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewunmi.
