BREAKING: Panic As Buhari Receives South African President Amid Omicron Variant Concerns [PHOTOS]—Hours after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the first three cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 with history of travel to South Africa, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday received South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, at the Villa in Abuja.
The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Ramaphosa arrived at the Villa around 10 am.
Cyril Ramaphosa inspected a guard of honour and was treated to a 21-gun salute.
His visit to the Villa is coming hours after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the first three cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in the West African nation, saying they are linked to passengers from South Africa.
