BREAKING: Scores Trapped As 21-Storey Building Collapses In Ikoyi, Lagos [VIDEO/PHOTOS]—The Genius Media Nigeria learnt that Scores of people have been trapped under the rubble as a 21-storey building collapsed in Lagos on Monday, November 1, 2021.

The building, under construction, is located on Gerard Road in upscale Ikoyi on Lagos Island.
The collapsed building which has trapped about 50 people with two dead bodies recovered from the rubbles, had an overwhelming structural defect which was as a result of a deviation from the intended original structural performance of the building.
