Team USA won gold on Saturday morning in the women’s 4×400-meter relay, and in doing so helped Allyson Felix set an American record. USA won with a time of 3:16.85. The Americans had run a 3:20:83 qualifying time and blazed past it on Saturday. They easily surpassed second-place Poland’s time of 3:20.53 and third-place Jamaica’s time of 3:21.24.
