REVEALED!!! Why #YorubaNation Campaign Failed In Offa—The Genius Media Nigeria reports that the campaign for secession of yoruba tribe from Nigeria, tagged Yoruba Nation has failed and abruptly brought to a stop in Offa, Kwara state today.
Sunday Igboho and the organizers of the Yoruba Nation movement have taken the next phase of the campaign sweeping across South west Nigeria to Ilorin, in Offa today 26th June 2021 as scheduled.
However, this news medium have gathered that some youths of the Offa town who have accused the leader of the campaign group, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho, have confronted the movement which have started at about 11: am, taken off from the Secretariat, accusing Sunday Igboho of having been disrespectful to their revered king of offa kingdom, Olofa of Offa, Oba Alhaji Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Okikiola Esuwoye II.
Sunday Igboho have been seen in some videos on social media, released by his camp, to have abused or coursed some Yoruba kings in his quest for the movement, which in Yoruba land is regarded as a taboo.
Report fluttered in have it that the campaign which had been guarded by Nigerian Police Force presence in order to prevent it from being hijacked by hoodlums, or slip into anarchy, had been gathering momentum with placards displaying messages promoting the movement’s ideology, before they encountered the youths supporting the revered king, Olofa of Offa, and the same Nigerian Police had to advise the campaign to be brought to an immediate end to avert crisis.
Sunday Igboho had not been sighted on ground even when the campaign had to be stopped.
The Yoruba Nation rally for Lagos State is already gathering momentum and could be ‘Mother of All Rallies’ of the movement.
Some of the southwest states that have hosted the Yoruba Nation Rallies include Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, and Ondo and now Kwara State, Offa which is now been tagged unsuccessful.
