BREAKING: Tyson Fury Signs Trilogy Contract, Vows To “Smash” Wilder In Fight 3—Tyson Fury, the British WBC champion has vowed to smash Deontay Wilder as their compulsory third world heavyweight title fight is now scheduled for July 24, in Las Vegas.
Fury confirmed Sunday 23rd that he has agreed and signed to go the third fight against Wilder, but not without a promise.
Fury has reportedly told Top Rank, his American promotional team that he would smash, smash and smash Wilder to inflict another “stoppage defeat” on the American. In Fury’s words “Wilder, this contract is signed, you’re getting smashed”.
He said further “when i say smashed, i mean smash, smash, smash, bang. You’re getting knocked out. End of one round you’re going. I’ve got your soul, your mojo, everything”
It would be recalled that a judge in united States threw hurdle in the way of the much anticipated Fury versus Joshua unification bout, which has been set for August. Anthony Joshua has also been compelled to fight a compulsory challenger in the name of Oleksandr Usyk, expectedly in August.
Meanwhile, if both Fury and Joshua scale through their “obstacles ” as compulsory challengers within the next 3 months as scheduled, boxing fans hopes of seeing the Joshua/Fury fight in December is therefore to be rekindled.
