The Animated doodle features Nigerian guitarist with several instrumental.
Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google’s homepages intended to commemorate holidays, events, achievements and notable historical figures.
The doodle went live on Thursday in honour of Late King (Dr.) Chief Oliver De Coque (1947-2008) Oliver Sunday Akanite
Since releasing his debut album Messiah Messiah in 1977, Coque had recorded no fewer than 93 albums in his homeland. His dance-inspiring “Ogene” style of Nigerian high life, which blends modern high life and traditional Igbo music, has produced such hits as “People’s Club of Nigeria”,“nempi social club”, “Biri Ka Mbiri,” “Ana Enwe,” “Nnukwu Mmanwu,” and “Identity,” which remained on Radio Nigeria 2’s Top Ten throughout most of 1981.
