NEWS ALERT!!! Atiku Abubakar Becomes First Nigerian To Receives COVID-19 Vaccine [PHOTO]–Past Nigerian Vice President and 2019 PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, his media aide Paul Ibe has said.
The Genius Media Nigeria reports that the former number two citizen received the vaccine in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Wednesday.
Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has been approved by several countries including the United States and the United Kingdom.
“The importance of the #COVID19 vaccine in mitigating the effect of the coronavirus cannot be overstated, particularly in Africa and Nigeria. Yesterday (Wednesday), as part of the mass vaccination programme, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine,” Mr Ibe said.
“He is anxiously looking forward to when Nigerians, especially medical professionals in the frontline and the most vulnerable will be vaccinated in the country.”
