BREAKING: In Just One Week, Peru Gets Francisco Sagasti As Third President—-Within just seven days, South American Nation of Peru has seen Francisco Sagasti occupy the Nation’s highest seat as its 3rd President.
The 76-year-old, who is a former World Bank official was elected by Peru’s Congress on Monday.
Sagasti was elected as a means by lawmakers out of a political crisis sparked by the impeachment of a popular president.
