Most Businesses Looted And Destroyed By #EndSARS Hoodlums Were Owned By Igbos – Army—–Appearing before the Judicial Panel on Saturday to give their statement, the Army revealed that most businesses looted and destroyed by #EndSARS hoodlums were owned by Igbos.

 

Destructions on private properties around Lekki, Ajah, Sangotedo during the Protests were owned by people of Igbo extraction, their representation told the panel.

 

Most Businesses Looted And Destroyed By #EndSARS Hoodlums Were Owned By Igbos - ArmyThe Army rep who disclosed this has been identified as Brigadier-General Ahmed Ibrahim Taiwo. He also denied the accusations that it shot and killed unarmed protesters.

The Brigadier-General disclosed this in his testimony at the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS related abuses and other matters following its invitation by the panel in the wake of the October 20 shootings at the Lekki Toll Gate.
