BREAKING: Former President Of Mali, Amadou Toure Is DeadThe family of Amadou Toumani Toure has announced that the one time Malian leader has passed away at the age of 72.

Toure led the Sahel nation for 10 years between 2002-2012 before he was ousted in a coup.

The politician died in Turkey on Tuesday from an undisclosed ailment, according to a family member and doctor.

His nephew Oumar told AFP that “ Amadou Toumani Toure died during the night of Monday to Tuesday in Turkey ,” where he had been taken for health reasons.”
