PHOTOS: How Unknown Hoodlums Steal Obafemi Awolowo’s Iconic Glasses––The statue of the late Obafemi Awolowo in Lagos state has been defaced after the statue’s iconic glasses was removed by hoodlums.
This occurred during the ongoing violence and crisis across the country. The Awolowo statue was erected during the administration of former Lagos governor Akinwumi Ambode.
In a similar development, it was also reported that the status of late Nnamdi Azikwe was burnt down in Ontisha, Anambra State.
