How Naira Marley Responded To Plea By The Minister Of Youth Not To Embark On #EndSARSNotBanSARS Protest—Leader of the controversial fan base ‘Marlians’, Azeez Adeshina Fashola AKA Naira Marley has been uged by the Minister of Youths and Sports Sunday Dare not to embark on protest against Special Anti-Robbery Squads.

The 29-year-old Nigerian Singer made an announcement a few days ago that he would be leading a peaceful protest against SARS, which will take place on Tuesday, October 6, as he urged youths to come out.

The peaceful protest was slated to take place at 2nd toll gate by 9pm today with the singer urging youths to call out against vandalism, fighting and stealing.

The Minster has however urged the singer not to embark on the protest as their grievances were being addressed at the highest level of government.
He wrote:

How Naira Marley Responded To Plea By The Minister Of Youth Not To Embark On #EndSARSNotBanSARS Protest“I urge you and other youth not to embark upon any protest. Yourgrievances are being addressed at the highest level of government. As the Minister in charge of youth I know this is an issue that must be tackled. Government is doing just that.”

Naira Marley in response to the Minster’s tweet, said:

“Ekale Sir. We have heard this before. Four times. Why will this time be different? Do you really care about the youth? Many of us have been killed and they harass us everyday. What is the assurance this time? We need assurance.”
