Why Hydroxychloroquine Wasn’t Prescribed In President Trump’s Treatment – #COVID-19—An update on the health of Donald Trimp has revealed that Hydroxychloroquine is not listed amongst the drugs being administered on him as treatment of his Covid-19.
President Trump and some Orthodox doctors had promoted the drug as an effective treatment for COVID-19, he even claimed that he was taking the drug as preventive measure. Scientists however discredited his assertions cause various tests proved the drug ineffective against the virus.
The Hydroxychloroquine is an anti-malaria drug aggressively promoted by US President Donald Trump as a cure for COVID-19 but it was conspicuously missing in the cocktail of drugs being used to treat him.
White House physician Sean Conley said in a memo that Trump had “received a single 8 gram dose of Regeneron’s polyclonal antibody cocktail” and was also taking “zinc, vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin an a daily aspirin.”
