BREAKING: Nigeria Lifts Ban On Emirates Airlines....UAE To Begin Visa Issuance To Nigerians—An announcement by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika on his Twitter handle relayed the lifting of ban previously placed on Emirates Airlines from operating in Nigeria.
This coming coming after the FG on September 18 restricted the airline as a step to implement the principle of reciprocity to all countries that had banned flights from Nigeria.
On Wednesday, 30th September, the Minister tweeted:
“UAE has written to state that they agree to issue visas to Nigerians, consequently decision has been reached to allow Emirates to fly into Nigeria.
“Commencement of the Visa issuance is condition precedent. Please bear with this unusual situation. Many thanks.”
