#LayconTheWinner: Laycon Reveals Why He Thought Dorathy Would Win––The Lockdown Edition winner of the BBNaija season 5, Laycon said he never saw himself winning the reality TV show cause his aim of joining the show was to promote his music.
The TV personality told Ebuka during an interview that he always thought Dorathy would win, while he would be behind her as the runner up.
Contrary from his thoughts, Dorathy emerged the first runner up in the show that ended on Sunday, while he went home with the N85 million grand prize.
“I never [at any point] thought I would win. [I asked myself] why not Dorathy?
“Because at the back of my mind, I didn’t even come here to win. I came here to promote my song and myself.
“[When I got to the top 5] I placed myself in second position because Neo has been up before.
“Vee has been up before. Nengi I’ve really not seen her up against major people so, in my head it was Vee, Neo, Nengi, me and Dora.”
