BREAKING: Youths Destroys Fire service Office As Another Fire Wrecks Havoc In Lokoja––Barely four days after an oil tank explosion claimed nearly 23 lives in Lokoja, another fire has engulfed a popular electronic shop very early on Saturday morning in Lokoja, Kogi state capital.
As reported by Blueprint, the fire began at about 5am on Saturday, September 25th. According to an eyewitness, even the timely intervention of youths and other traders was not able to contain the fire.
The untimely intervention of men of the fire service to the scene led to angry youths in the area destroying the office of Federal Fire service located lokoja.
There are speculations that the fire might be linked an electrical spark due to fluctuation in power supply.
