BREAKING: Obaseki Says He Has No Plans To Return To APC Now—-After a meeting with President Buhari in Aso Rock, the governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki shut down all false notions about the possibility of him returning to the All Progressives Congress (APC) soon saying that such a move will be a blemish on his integrity.
Obaseki had gone on an appreciative visit to the President, following last weekend’s governorship election, which he won and was re-elected as governor of Edo State under the umbrella of the PDP.
In response to questions from the state house correspondents after the meeting with the president, he stated that leaving the PDP for the APC would be going against Buhari’s message of integrity,
In addition, He said he will not attempt to replace former APC national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, as the new godfather of Edo politics, saying that if he does, “I should be dealt with accordingly.”
