#EdoDecides2020: Hold It, Obaseki May Still Defect To APC – Bamgbose Alleges—Following the re-election of Governor Godwin Obaseki for a second term in Edo state under the umbrella of the PDP, Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq has advised members PDP to limit their celebration as Obaseki may soon return to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to the National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG, Obaseki may soon stage a comeback to the party.
The Genius Media recalls that Obaseki left the APC for the PDP a few months to the governorship election after he was disqualified by the ruling party and had to contend with the godfathers of the APC, National Leader Bola Tinubu and a former National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.
He was finally victorious after being re-elected under the PDP for defeating APC Ize-Iyamu with over 100,000 votes.
Bamgbose however noted that, “Tinubu went extra mile to frustrate the governor, but he failed woefully. Edo voters clipped his big wings.
“On the other hand, Oshiomhole exhausted his political arsenal, but met his waterloo.
“Obaseki’s victory has finally nailed his political coffin. His political career has dishonorably come to an end. It’s really painful.
“However, PDP should not rejoice much, because he may soon stage a comeback to the Rulling party, other things being equal.
