BREAKING: Traditional Ruler Of Zazzau, Emir Alhaji Shuhu Is Dead—-The 18th Fulani Emir of Zazzau and Chairman, Kaduna State Council of Traditional Ruler, Alhaji Shehu Idris passed away on the morning of Sunday 20th September, 2020.
The Emir who was being flown to a London hospital for treatment died on his way leaving behind four wives, dozens of children and grand as well as great-grandchildren as confirmed by a traditional title holder, Wazirin Zazzau.
The late Emir was appointed on15th February, 1975 and spent 45 years on the throne. According to his son, Aminu Shehu Idris, he passed on after battling with an undisclosed ailment for a decade “until this morning when death snatched him away.”
The monarch will be buried by 5pm on Sunday and will attended by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III as well as other traditional rulers.
