Lionel Messi Tops Forbes List Of Football’s Highest Earners, See How Much He Earns—Forbes magazine has reported that Argentina football star Lionel Messi has displaced Juventus attacker Cristiano Ronaldo to become world’s highest paid footballer with $1billion in pre-tax.
The magazine added that the Barcelona Star player earns $126million (salary of $92million plus $34million in endorsements) automatically making him world’s second football billionaire with Ronaldo closely behind him with his $117 million
Some of Messi’s endorsement deals includes Adidas, Pepsi, Budweiser, and AI-vision company OrCam Technologies; Ronaldo who is the most popular athlete in the world has deals with companies like Nike and Herbalife.
Coming in third is Paris Saint-Germain winger Neymar, who is set to earn $96million. The Brazil international recently switched to Puma after his deal with Nike came to an end.
