UNILAG Acting Vice Chancellor Quits—#UnilagCrisis–The Newly VC of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Prof Omololu Soyombo, has stepped down immediately.
The followed the federal government’s directives thatUNILAG Senate should nominate an acting VC,
The federal government also asked embattled Pro-Chancellor and ViceChancellor to recuse themselves pending the outcome of probe by the visiting panel.
Before his appointment asacting VC, Prof. Soyombo has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Essex, England. He is a Member of several Professional Associations, part of which are; the Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Association and Integrated Transport Initiative
