BREAKING: Tears, Tributes As Remains Of Buruji Kashamu Buried [PHOTOS]

Buruji Kashamu Buried—The remains of Senator Buruji Kashamu, have been buried at his Ijebu-Igbo country home.

The Nation reports he was buried at around 12:55 pm on Sunday.

Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun was part of the crowd that bidded the politician a tearful farewell.

Sympathisers shunned COVID-19 protocols during the burial with many of them struggling to have a good view of the funeral activities.

He died at 62 on Saturday of COVID-19 complications.

Mr Kashamu was the founder of Western Lotto Limited, one of Nigeria’s lottery operators.

He served as the senator representing Ogun East in the eighth National Assembly and for years was wanted in the United States for alleged drug offenses. He always denied wrongdoing.
