For the first time since Nigeria reported its first case of COVID-19 infection in February, President #Buhari was spotted wearing face mask the moment he landed at an airport in Bamako, Mali capital.
Buhari is among other five west African leaders attending a crucial meeting aimed at restoring peace in Mali.
Since the inception of Coronavirus, Buhari has never been seen with face mask at public appearances.
Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had announced on Wednesday that PMB would join his counterparts from the West African regional bloc on a peacekeeping mission to Mali.
Mali’s COVID-19 case is reported to be 2,494, with 1,869 recoveries and 123 deaths so far
