Adebayo Sikiru Osinowo (Bayo Osinowo) popularly known as Pepperito , the senator representing Lagos East in the National Assembly has passed on at age 64
The member of the Lagos State House of Representatives died at First Cardiologist Hospital, Lagos after a prolonged battle with coronavirus.
He was the Senator representing Lagos East at the 9th Nigerian National Assembly.
“The Senator has been suffering high blood pressure for years. It’s really not a secret those close to him know this”.
Commenting on speculations that Osinowo died of coronavirus complications, the source said it might not be true.
“I don’t think so because Senator Osinowo has been very careful since the COVID-19 outbreak. He avoided meeting people”, he said.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State House of Assembly chamber was in a mourning mood during today’s sitting after the news filtered in.
