75-Years-Old Prof. Ibrahim Gambari has been sighted as he arrived the Presidential Villa this morning in expectation to be unveiled today as the new Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former External Affairs Minister is expected to participate in the virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to be presided over by President Buhari today.
Yesterday, we reported that Gambari had been selected to replace Late Abba Kyari as the CoS but was yet to be officially announced.
According to Nigerian Tribune, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, confirmed that Gambari wil be announced as new CoS on Wednesday.
Adesina was quoted saying that an announcement was to be made, but stopped short, saying that Gambari has been picked.
